Day 3- Selling Inventory and Research

Today, our agenda was to figure out ways to sell new but last-season inventory. Brooke and I learned yesterday that Remy is dealing with what to do with last-season inventory that didn’t sell. We started off by going into town and visiting multiple boutiques and consignment stores. We asked questions about their experience with overflow and what happens when there are pieces that just don’t sell. After gaining information from local stores we went back to do some more research online. We learned that selling online through resellers such as Lyst, Vestiaire Collective, and Threadup would be the most efficient way to sell new but last-season inventory. We put together a proposal for Remy that includes each online reseller’s description and how much they would profit from each sold item. In total, Brooke and I spent 6 hours working on our project!
